Administration Officer

Location: Brisbane, Queensland

Employment Details:
Permanent, part-time position

  • LAUD ink, a Brisbane-based landscape architecture and urban design practice, is seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Architect. This role involves supporting our team's work in urban design strategy, precinct master planning, open space planning, park master planning, landscape site design, rehabilitation, wayfinding and signage, and transport infrastructure and public realm.

We are a close-knit team of dedicated landscape architects with a positive workplace culture. Our project outcomes are driven by ownership and strong relationships with our team, clients, and consultant partners.

    • Experience with office administration roles, preferably in either a landscape architecture practice or other related built environment field (engineering, town planning, architectural practice or similar).

    • Provide office administrative support and assistance to LAUD ink Directors

    • Provide office administrative support and assistance with delivery of landscape and urban design projects and client communications

    • Undertake invoicing, coordination of client project data, marketing and business development material

    • Using a range of office software, including Xero, email, spreadsheets and databases

    • Managing filing systems

    • Refinement and further development of compliant administrative system

    • Liaise with suppliers, other consultants and clients regarding outstanding payments

    • Organising the office layout and maintaining supplies of stationery and office equipment

    • Maintaining the condition of the office and arranging for necessary repairs

    • Assisting with organising meetings, preparing meeting agenda and taking minutes in consultation with the relevant project manager

    • Coordination of staff travel requests (including arranging: flight, vehicle and accommodation bookings)

    • Assistance with recruitment of new staff

    • Coordination with company accountant and bookkeepers (if requested)

    • Competency with MS Office (Excel and Word) and Outlook

    • Experience with Xero desirable

    • Professionalism in all dealings with staff, clients and industry affiliates

    • Respectful, friendly and professional communication with other team members, consultants and clients

    • Strong time management skills and efficient judgement within constrained time scales and resources
